Two Year Area

Our Two Year area provides an exciting, safe and stimulating area for the transition between the baby and toddler stages with a staff ratio of 1 : 5.

Laura is our Two year area room lead and has had over 3 years experience here with us at Gee's Little Bee's.

Our toddler area will enable children to develop and encourage independence through lots of free play. We also believe adult lead learning is a major part of children's development so our toddlers will be encouraged to take part in lots of activities such as; painting, messy play, singing, baking, story time and outdoor play.

A key person will be responsible for regular observation on each child so we are able to plan activities to suit their individual needs, again this will be linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Lots of fun, play and exploring can be very demanding on toddlers so quiet areas are provided allowing them to rest or sleep. A quiet carpet area with cushions, beanbags and teddies are accessible for the toddles allowing them to catch up on some well earned rest!
